From custom kitchen cabinetry to built-in libraries, mudrooms, and closet systems — our millwork is made to measure, built from solid materials, and installed by people who take it personally.
Why Cabinetry Matters
In a kitchen, bathroom, or built-in application, cabinetry is the structure around which everything else is organized. It defines sight lines, storage logic, and the overall quality impression of the space. We don't install stock. We build and install cabinetry that holds up to daily life for decades and looks better than the day it was installed.
Our Scope
The foundation of every kitchen remodel we do. We design your cabinet layout to maximize storage efficiency, workflow logic, and visual proportion. Base cabinets, wall cabinets, tall pantry towers, and floating shelves — all built to spec for your exact kitchen dimensions. Pull-out drawers, spice racks, trash pullouts, appliance garages, and corner solutions that actually work.
A built-in bookcase, entertainment wall, home office, or bar cabinet transforms dead wall space into the most distinctive feature in the room. We design and build these from scratch — fitted to your ceiling height, studs, and architectural details. Crown moulding, fluted columns, integrated lighting, and adjustable shelving are standard, not upgrades.
Walk-in closets designed around how you actually dress — island with drawers, double hanging for shirts and jackets, long hang for dresses, pull-out shoe racks, integrated lighting, and a full-length mirror. Or reach-in closet systems that maximize every cubic inch. Custom-built in the same materials as your kitchen cabinetry — not wire rack or laminate particleboard.
A floating bathroom vanity or custom built-in linen storage changes the entire feel of the room. We build these to match your tile, countertop, and hardware selections — fully integrated, not purchased off-the-shelf and modified. Standard bathroom cabinetry doesn't survive Houston's humidity long-term. Ours does.
High-traffic utility spaces deserve cabinetry as well-built as your kitchen. Mudroom lockers with bench seating and overhead storage, laundry room upper and lower cabinets with fold-out ironing boards and hamper pullouts. Finished to coordinate with the rest of your home — functional and good-looking. Especially relevant in Texas where garage entry traffic is constant.
A properly designed home office or study library with integrated cabinetry is one of the highest-demand features in Houston real estate right now. Floor-to-ceiling bookcases, built-in desk with filing drawers, wiring management, and LED cove lighting. We build these as full rooms — not furniture installations — and they look like they came with the house.
Material Palette
We work with a curated selection of wood species and finish options — chosen for durability, grain character, and compatibility with Houston's climate.
Fine, consistent grain that takes paint beautifully. The standard for painted cabinetry because it produces the smoothest surface with minimal grain show-through. Hard, dense, and highly durable under daily use.
Currently the most-requested species for natural stain finishes. Wide, pronounced grain with a warm undertone. Takes wire brushing and light cerusing beautifully for a contemporary European aesthetic.
Lighter and more uniform than oak, alder accepts stain evenly and works well for transitional and farmhouse styles. Cost-effective option for full-custom projects where budget matters but quality doesn't.
Rich chocolate tones and dramatic grain — walnut is the premium choice for high-end kitchen islands, study libraries, and executive home offices. Typically specified for accent pieces and island bases alongside painted perimeter cabinetry.
Cabinet Refacing
If your cabinet boxes are structurally sound but the doors, drawers, and hardware are dated — refacing is a smart alternative to full replacement.
Refacing replaces your door and drawer fronts, applies matching veneer to the visible box faces, and installs all new hardware and soft-close mechanisms. The result is indistinguishable from new cabinetry — at roughly 40–60% of the cost. We offer this where it makes sense, and full replacement where it doesn't. We'll tell you the difference honestly.
| Feature | Refacing | Full Replacement |
|---|---|---|
| New Door & Drawer Fronts | Yes | Yes |
| New Hardware | Yes | Yes |
| New Interior Box | No | Yes |
| Layout Changes | Limited | Full flexibility |
| Relative Cost | 40–60% less | Full investment |
| Timeline | 2–4 days | 5–10 days |
How We Work
We design, build, and install — no third-party cabinet vendor delays or finger-pointing between manufacturer and installer.
We field-measure your space with laser accuracy, review your style preferences, and produce a 3D cabinet layout for your approval. You see exactly what you're getting before any wood is cut.
We guide you through wood species, door style, finish, and hardware — at our preferred vendors, where you get trade pricing. Every item is locked before fabrication begins.
Custom cabinets are built in our shop or by our certified fabrication partners. Lead time is communicated upfront. All boxes are inspected before delivery — we don't bring anything to your home that doesn't meet standard.
Our installers work clean, level to tolerance, and handle all scribing, filler strips, and trim details in-field. Hardware adjusted and tested. Walk-through with you before they leave. No "close enough" on our jobs.
Homeowners who have lived with beautifully built cabinetry know the difference. Here's what we specify on every high-end project — details that are invisible until you live with them.
Pull-out drawer inserts fitted precisely to your drawer dimensions — individually partitioned for cutlery, utensils, spice jars, and knives. Solid walnut or maple dividers (not plastic), soft-close undermount slides, and compartment sizing based on what you actually own. We measure your existing cookware before we spec a single compartment.
Available in knife block integration, hidden drawer-in-drawer configurations, and full-extension designs that bring the back of the drawer to you. The difference between a drawer that works and one you'll use for 20 years.
Warm-white LED strips recessed beneath upper cabinet bottoms and inside toe-kick channels — wired directly to a dimmer, not plug-in strips. Provides task lighting over the entire countertop surface without a single visible fixture. At night, the ambient glow from the toe-kick defines the kitchen without overhead lighting.
We also wire interior cabinet lighting for glass-front uppers and pantry towers — motion-activated, so the light turns on when you open the door and off when you close it.
The waterfall edge — where the countertop continues vertically down the side of the island to the floor — is the signature detail of a high-end kitchen. We spec book-matched Calacatta Gold or Viola marble (veining aligned across the seam), or matching engineered quartz for zero-maintenance performance. The island cabinet is built with an inset frame specifically to receive the waterfall panel.
Combined with toe-kick LED lighting beneath, this creates the floating island effect you see in architectural photography — achievable in your home.
Vertical reeding on island panels, vanity faces, and lower cabinet fronts adds dimensional texture that flat slab doors can't deliver. Available in painted MDF for a clean contemporary look, or in white oak with a wire-brushed finish for warmth. Reeded glass inserts for upper cabinet doors soften the kitchen while keeping dishware visible.
This is the 2026 detail replacing shiplap as the dominant interior texture in Texas luxury remodeling. We mill and install it in-house.
What Houston Homeowners Are Asking For
From Sugar Land to The Woodlands, these are the cabinetry upgrades driving the most calls — and delivering the strongest return at resale across the Houston market.
Most Requested
Lower cabinets in a bold navy or sage, uppers in crisp white — this two-tone look dominates every design magazine and Houston model home right now. Semi-custom boxes with custom-look doors give you the designer aesthetic at a realistic remodel budget. Paired with quartz countertops, it's unbeatable on resale.

Design Statement
Bringing cabinets all the way to the ceiling eliminates the awkward gap that collects dust and makes kitchens look shorter. Add integrated LED under-cabinet and interior lighting and the whole room transforms at night. We frame and build these custom — no box-store limitations.
